GLENDALE, Wis. –  After opening this season 0-5, the Milwaukee Area Technical College men's tennis team finally picked up its first win of the season with an 8-0 home victory over Waubonsee Friday.

In singles play, the Stormers swept the Chiefs after Peyton Kuzminski (6-1, 6-2), Emiliano Carrion (6-3, 6-0), Ethan Ramsey (4-6, 6-1, 10-7), and Vanchai Thao (6-0, 6-0) each earned individual victories. In doubles action, partners Kuzminski/Carrion and Ramsey/Thao each claimed 8-1 victories.

The shutout win helped the Stormers move to 1-5 on the season.
