HANOVER PARK, Ill. – MATC men's tennis dropped its second matchup of the season to Elgin Sunday morning.

The Stormers (0-2) were shutout, losing 9-0 to the Spartans. Collectively, MATC won a total of two sets in singles play. Peyton Kuzminski dropped a third-set tiebreaker (3-6, 6-1, 9-11) in singles action against Caedmon Steuber. Kuzminski's teammate, Ethan Ramsey also suffered a third-set tiebreaker (6-1, 3-6, 3-10) defeat at the hands of Matthew Crumlett.

MATC's Emiliano Carrion and Vanchai Thao dropped their respective singles matches in straight sets. Doubles partners Kuzimski/Carrion and Ramsey/Thao also fell in back-to-back sets in doubles.
