MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Milwaukee Area Technical College women's volleyball added another key piece to its future with the official signing of 6-foot middle/outside hitter Isabella Marvella Bloom from Blackduck High School in Blackduck, Minn., as part of the Stormers' 2026 recruiting class.
Bloom brings strong club experience with Grand Rapids, suiting up for Rapids Thunder, and is a two-time team captain and one-time All-Northwoods Conference honoree at Blackduck. She earned the team's Best Server award and finished her senior season leading her squad in blocks. Bloom also competes in softball each spring and has previous experience in basketball and trap shooting, rounding out her overall athletic skill set.
"Bella is a high-intensity player excited for every point," MATC head coach
Shel DeLisle said. "Her enthusiasm is contagious. She is another multi-talented player able to step in at any position and get the touch or point needed to win. Bella is unshakable on the court with the confidence of varsity and international play behind her. She is a big addition to our lineup."
Off the court, Bloom is equally committed to academics. She currently boasts a 4.03 GPA, ranking first in a class of 51, has completed PSEO coursework, and serves as president of the National Honor Society at Blackduck. She has earned an academic letter and consistently appears on the A honor roll.
Bloom plans to major in business management and marketing. She aims to maintain straight A's while pursuing a business degree with a future career in real estate, and her athletic goal is to continue honing her skills under DeLisle's teaching with hopes of playing Division I volleyball after her Stormers career.
