OAK CREEK, Wis. — Milwaukee Area Technical College baseball is pleased to announce that sophomore pitcher Connor Ziman has signed with Benedictine University. The 6‑foot‑4, 195‑pound right‑hander will join fellow Stormer Peyton Flees in Lisle, Illinois, this fall and add another dependable arm to an Eagles staff that continues to push toward the top of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.

The Hartford, Wisconsin, native moves on after two seasons of steady bullpen work for MATC, including a team‑high 18 appearances this past spring. He logged 16.2 innings in 2026, struck out nine batters, converted one save and was used in a variety of late‑inning situations. Opponents hit .324 against him; he allowed 13 earned runs on 24 hits but consistently competed in high‑leverage innings and stayed ready whenever the Stormers needed relief.

Across his two‑year career, Ziman appeared in 35 games, went 2–0, recorded one save and struck out 17 hitters, giving MATC a durable, competitive right‑hander who embraced every role the staff asked of him.

MATC head coach Caleb Bounds praised Ziman's reliability and growth.

"Connor was the ultimate bullpen arm for us," Bounds said. "He threw in a ton of big games and would get the ball in the worst situations and usually handled it pretty easily. Connor is a huge competitor and will be missed. He is the second player from this class to sign with Benedictine University. We wish him the best and know he's going to be successful."

Ziman now heads to Benedictine looking to elevate his game and carve out a role in a program built on pitching depth.
