Stormers Earn No. 3 Seed for NJCAA Division II National Tournament

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The bracket is set, and the path to a national title is officially in front of Milwaukee Area Technical College.

The Stormers, currently ranked No. 5 in NJCAA Division II and riding a 23‑game win streak, have earned the No. 3 seed in the 2026 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament. The complete 20‑team bracket was released Tuesday evening during the 2026 NJCAA Selection Show, officially placing MATC on the No. 3 seed line and revealing its opening‑round matchup path.

MATC will open tournament play on March 17 at 3 p.m., facing the winner of the No. 14 Coastal Alabama–North vs. No. 19 Rockland matchup.

The national championship event will once again be hosted by Danville Area Community College at the Mary Miller Complex, located at 2000 East Main Street, Danville, Ill. 61832. The Stormers will travel to Danville on Saturday to begin on‑site preparation.

The entirety of the 2026 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship will be streamed live on the NJCAA Network, with all games available on‑demand after their conclusion.
