MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Milwaukee Area Technical College men's basketball team held firm in the national rankings, remaining at No. 5 in the Week 12 NJCAA Division II poll released Feb. 9, 2026.

The Stormers stayed put after another unbeaten week, going 2–0 with home wins over College of DuPage on Feb. 3 and Joliet Junior College on Feb. 5. The victories extended MATC's winning streak to 15 straight games. MATC (22–3) continues to stand as the highest‑ranked team in Region 4. Also representing the region in this week's poll are No. 7 South Suburban, No. 18 Madison College, No. 23 Bryant & Stratton, and No. 25 Rock Valley. MATC now turns its attention to a two‑game road swing, beginning with a matchup at No. 18 Madison College today before traveling to Olive‑Harvey College on Thursday.
