MADISON, Wis. — No. 5 Milwaukee Area Technical College continued its dominant midseason surge Tuesday evening, rolling past No. 18 Madison College 119–80 behind a breakout performance from sophomore guard
Noah Daniels, who poured in a season‑high 31 points and knocked down seven 3‑pointers in the road win.
The Stormers, ranked fifth in the latest NJCAA Division II poll, seized control early and never allowed Madison to settle in. MATC built a 53–40 halftime lead before overwhelming the WolfPack in the second half, outscoring them 66–40 to secure a 39‑point victory and extend their winning streak to 16 games, the program's longest of the season.
"I think this was one of our most complete games in a long time," MATC head coach
Randy Casey said. "We came out strong in the first half and continued that in the second half as well. It was good to see Noah [Daniels] back to how he started the year. His injury affected his play, although he continued to play through it. He is feeling a lot better, and it showed in his game. We played good defense as a team, and we need to build on that as we move forward."
Daniels' shooting display headlined a balanced offensive effort that featured five Stormers in double figures. Freshman forward
Turon Rivers added 22 points, marking his third 20‑point game of the season, while sophomore reserve
Jordan Jones delivered 18 points off the bench. Sophomore transfer guard
Jayden Hackett contributed 17 points, and starting point guard
Raydelh Boutin rounded out the group with 16.
Sophomore
Qi'Andre Washington chipped in eight points, freshman reserve
Aidan Chapman added three, and sophomores
Kamarion Ivory and
Ozzie Johnson each scored two points apiece.
