OAK CREEK, Wis. — The Milwaukee Area Technical College women's soccer team (5-3-3) will open postseason play Thursday when it hosts College of Lake County (5-6-3) in the first round of the 2025 NJCAA Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
The Region 4 tournament begins with the first round on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Quarterfinals follow on Nov. 2, with semifinals scheduled for Nov. 5. All games leading up to the final will be hosted by the higher seed. The championship match will be set for Saturday, Nov. 8, at Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Region 4 champion then will advance as the Midwest District representative to the 2025 NJCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship, which runs Nov. 16-22 at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.
MATC enters the Region 4 Tournament as the No. 6 seed and earned the right to host No. 11 seed College of Lake County in Thursday's opening-round matchup.
"We are incredibly proud of our women's team for earning the No. 6 seed in the NJCAA Region 4 Division II Women's Soccer Tournament," MATC head coach Aron "Buddy" Gentry said. "Securing that seed is a testament to the hard work, growth, and determination of our student-athletes and staff."
