LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Milwaukee Area Technical College softball team is looking to start their playoff run this Friday.
The 2026 NJCAA Division II Region 4 Softball Tournament will begin with four double-elimination quarterfinal tournaments on May 1-2. The four quarterfinal tournament sites will be Rock Valley College (Rockford, IL), College of Lake County (Lake Forest, IL), Bryant & Stratton College (Oglesby, IL/Moved to the Campus of Illinois Valley Community College), and Black Hawk College (Moline, IL).
Milwaukee Area Technical College will travel to Lake Forest, IL (College of Lake County) this Friday for their first round match up. The Stormers (20-27, 20-22 in Region 4) received the tourney's no. 10 seed and will take on the number 7 seed Madison College WolPack (18-16, 13-12 in Region 4). First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
The four winners will advance to the Midwest District Tournament on May 8-9 hosted by Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois. The champion, as well as the winner of a runner-up game, will both earn automatic bids to the 2026 NJCAA Division II Softball Championships in Spartanburg, South Carolina, from May 18-23.
