MILWAUKEE, Wis – Milwaukee Area Technical College men's basketball sophomore guard
Matthew Hoarde (Rockford, IL / Rockford East) adds another accolade to his resume as he has been named to the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-American Second Team.
The NJCAA All-American teams are selected and voted on by the NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee.
This year, Hoarde averaged a team-best 16.5 points per game over 33 games, including 18 starts for the Stormers. He also recorded ten 20-point games, including a season-high 28 points in a 95-54 home victory over Harper College on Dec. 16.
Hoarde concluded his sophomore campaign with totals of 544 points, 247 rebounds (7.5 RPG), 31 steals (0.9 SPG), and 17 blocks (0.5 BPG). His total defensive rebounds (201) ranked 15th in the nation while his point total (544) ranked 40th.
This season Hoarde was also named to the NJCAA All-Region First team.
