OAK CREEK, Wis. — Milwaukee Area Technical College proudly announces that freshman midfielder
Braden Kison has been named to the NJCAA All‑Region 4 First Team following a standout 2025‑26 campaign.
Kison, a Greendale, Wisconsin, native, started all 12 regular‑season contests for the Stormers. He played a pivotal role in the midfield, recording nine shot attempts and helping drive an offense that produced 16 goals across the fall slate. His consistency and presence in the starting lineup provided stability for a young roster that continued to grow throughout the year.
Although he did not register a single goal or assist, Kison's impact was felt in other ways. His ability to control tempo, distribute the ball, and apply pressure in transition gave the Stormers valuable balance. The team averaged 1.3 goals per game, and Kison's contributions were central to that production.
"Congratulations to
Braden Kison on being named to the All‑Region First Team," MATC head coach Aron "Buddy" Gentry said. "Braden has consistently demonstrated tremendous technical ability, work ethic, and physical leadership on the pitch. Beyond his athletic achievements, he is a person of strong character who represents our program and college with integrity, humility, and commitment. We are proud of his accomplishment and the example he sets for his teammates and peers."
Kison's recognition adds to MATC's continued growth in Region 4 competition. His honor reflects both individual dedication and the collective progress of the Stormers men's soccer program.
