MILWAUKEE, Wis – Four members of the Milwaukee Area Technical College baseball team were selected to the 2022 NJCAA All-Region Teams.
Sophomore catcher
Joe Fiorillo earned a first-team nod after his outstanding season. Fiorillo posted a .336 average at the plate, collecting 40 RBIs, 12 extra base hits, and two home runs. Fiorillo scored 26 times for the Stormers in his 134 at bats.
Sophomore pitcher
Brett Stuessel was selected to the All-Region first team. He finished the year with a 4-2 record on the mound, posting a 3.66 ERA for the Stormers. He had 11 appearances and eight starts this spring. Stuessel worked 51.2 innings this season and had 41 strikeouts. He finished the season with two shutouts and two complete games.
Sophomore infielder
Ethan Rossow was named to the All-Region first team in his record setting season. Rossow set the record for most runs scored in a season with 63, and he set the stolen base record with 63 stolen bases. Rossow batted .373 with two home runs and 36 RBI.
Julian Jimenez rounded out the four Stormers on All-Region teams, also earning a first team nomination. Jimenez posted a .384 average at the plate and an OPS of .487. He drove in 44 RBIs and walked 30 times this season. Jimenez finished with 14 stolen bases this season and tied the team in the most home runs with six.
