MILWAUKEE, Wis – Milwaukee Area Technical College has hired Rock Valley College's Caleb Bounds to replace head baseball coach Zac Charbonneau, who left for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside after leading the Stormers for the past four seasons.
Bounds, whose hiring was announced Tuesday, helped coach the Golden Eagles to the lowest ERA in program history. He was also part of the staff that broke the total wins record for a season. In addition, during his time at Rock Valley Bounds coached an All-American Pitcher and 10+ All-conference and All-Region Players.
"He's a great fit," MATC Athletic Director
Randy Casey said. "He's got a junior college background and he has a wealth of experience as a player and a coach, and is bringing that experience to us."
Before working at RVC Bounds coached at Columbia College, an NAIA college in Columbia, Missouri, and was also the head coach of the Chillicthe Mudcats of the MINK Summer League.
