OAK CREEK, Wis. – Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is proud to announce that 6-foot-5 sophomore left-handed pitcher
Zach Johnson has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire this fall.
"Committing to UW–Eau Claire means I get to continue playing the sport I love while also receiving a quality education," Johnson said. "I plan to study finance and hope to pursue a career as an investment banker."
A native of East Troy, Wis., Johnson served primarily as a bullpen pitcher during his time with the Stormers. He finished his MATC career with a 1-0 record over 10 appearances, recording 12 strikeouts in 9.1 innings. During the 2024–25 season, he posted a 3.18 ERA and a 2.12 WHIP, with seven strikeouts in five outings.
