MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) women's basketball team has added to its 2025 recruiting class with the official signing of Mariah Hollweck, a local standout guard from West Allis.
Hollweck, a 5'8" senior from Nathan Hale High School, brings a unique blend of court awareness, shooting range and perimeter defense to the Stormers' backcourt. Known for her high basketball IQ and ability to create opportunities for her teammates, she is expected to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level.
"Mariah has great court vision and can knock down shots from range," MATC head coach
Arom Murrell said. "She will be a great addition to our program."
Hollweck joins an MATC program that has steadily gained momentum under Murrell's leadership, with a focus on developing local talent and fostering a high-energy, team-first style of play. She is expected to bolster the Stormers' guard rotation as they continue building toward a strong 2025-26 season.
