MILWAUKEE, Wis – For the fifth time in six years, the Stormers men's basketball team has won the NJCAA Region 4 (Midwest B District) championship. The Stormers advance to the NJCAA National Tournament after securing a 94-78 victory over the Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats Saturday (3/9/24) night.
Shelton Williams-Dryden led Milwaukee Tech with 26 points and he pulled down 12 rebounds.
Shamann Artis added 19 points in the victory. Three other Stormers scored in double figures (
Qi'Andre Washington 14 points,
Cyrus Little 11 points, and
Brionne Williams 10 points)
Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers advance to the NJCAA DII National Championship in Danville, Illinois. The tournament is hosted by Danville Area Community College and will take place March 18-23.
The team will find out its seed and opening round opponent in the NJCAA Tournament on Tuesday (3/12). The NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Selection Show will be available on the
NJCAA Network.
