QUINCY, Ill. –The Milwaukee Area Technical College men's basketball program returned to its winning ways with a 93-67 blowout victory over Spoon River Community College in the John Wood Classic on Friday night.
 
Five players scored at least 10 points for the Stormers as they were led in scoring by sophomore guard James Horton. He made his presence felt throughout the game, scoring 21 points shooting 8/11 from the field an 4/5 from the three-point line. Sophomore guard Shamann Artis was also on fire from behind the arc, connecting on five 3-pointers and ending the game with 17 points. Ke'Varius "KJ" Taylor finished the game with 14 points, while Antonio Foxwell and Shelton Williams-Dryden put up 10 points.
 
The win brings Milwaukee Area Technical College's overall record up to 9-3, and their region record to 3-1.
