QUINCY, Ill. – Milwaukee Area Technical College men's basketball led wire-to-wire in their 82-69 victory over John Wood Community College, and MATC gets their tenth win of the season.
The Stormers opened the game on a 5-0 run with a three-point basket from
Shamann Artis and put-back layup from
Jayquan Hickles and they never looked back. MATC utilized excellent ball movement in Saturday's game, piling up 20 assists. Ke'Varius "KJ" Taylor's eight assists paced the Stormers.
Jayquan Hickles returned to the starting lineup and let MATC with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Shelton Williams-Dryden added 19 points off the bench, and Ke'Varius "KJ" Taylor (12 points) and
James Horton (12 points) each scored in double figures.
