MILWAUKEE, Wis – The Milwaukee Area Technical College men's basketball team (8-3), without three of its top playmakers, were unable to rally at McHenry County College (5-3) Monday night falling 114-112 to the Scots.
MATC was led in scoring by
Ke'Varius "KJ" Taylor, who poured in 28 points on 9-18 shooting, knocking down four 3-point baskets, and pulling down 12 rebounds.
Five other Stormers scored in double figures in the loss;
Shamann Artis (15 points),
Maurice Clay (season high 15 points),
Cyrus Little (season high 14 points),
Dane Dailing (12 points), and
Antonio Foxwell (11 points).
The MATC men's basketball team will return to the court this weekend at the John Wood Classic in Quincy, IL. Friday night they will face Spoon River Community College at 5:00 PM, and on Saturday they will take on John Wood Community College at 3:00 PM.
