MILWAUKEE, Wis - In advance of the 2022 spring athletic calendar beginning, the MATC Athletics Department along with Alverno College has announced an updated spectator policy for the remainder of the men's and women's home basketball schedule. Please note, the below policy is subject to change.

Effective immediately, the capacity of Reiman Gymnasium for all basketball contests will be limited to 50% capacity, approximately 150 spectators. That number does not include officials, student-athletes, team or game personnel.

Fans will be strongly encouraged to arrive early, as spectators will be permitted to attend on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upon the capacity level being reached, all remaining spectators will be turned away at the door and encouraged to view the home events via video stream, which is provided for all home MATC basketball events.

Masking will continue to be required at all times while inside any Alverno College facility regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are required in the hallways leading into the gymnasium, as well as the gymnasium itself. Failure to comply with wearing a face covering will result in removal from the facility.

Concessions will remain open, and will remain in the form of selling only prepackaged goods, such as candies and chips, in addition to sodas, sports drinks and waters. Popcorn will not be sold for the remainder of the season.
