Cicero, Ill. - It seemed like the Milwaukee Area Technical College women's basketball team was going to win its eighth game of the season Thursday night, until the Stormers let a 17-point halftime lead go by the wayside against Morton College to end with a final score of 60-66 in non-conference action.

Freshman Blake Bonin (12), freshman Thomas Sanborn (11), and sophomore Darrell Hutchison (10) all finished in double digits for scoring, while sophomores Elijah Wilson-Thomas and Alex Topalovic each added eight points off the bench.

Both teams committed 15 turnovers, and the Stormers held a 44-to-29 rebounding advantage.

Lady Stormers are back in action on Saturday, taking on San Diego Christian College at Heap Gymnasium. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
