Caleb Bounds enters his fourth season as head coach of the Milwaukee Area Technical College baseball program in 2025-26. Since taking over in 2022, Bounds has led the Stormers to an overall record of 87-80-1, including a program-record 35 wins in a single season set last spring. In addition to his coaching duties, he also serves as the academic advisor for all MATC athletic programs.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Bounds is a 2012 graduate of Savannah High School. He began his collegiate playing career as a starting pitcher at North Central Missouri College from 2012 to 2014, breaking the team’s single-season wins record in consecutive years. He then continued his playing career at William Woods University, where he helped lead the Owls to an NAIA National Tournament Opening Round appearance. Bounds earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2016 and later completed his MBA at Columbia College in 2018.
Bounds launched his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Columbia College from 2016 to 2018, playing an instrumental role in reviving the baseball program after a 35-year hiatus. He went on to serve as head coach of the Chillicothe Mudcats (2018–21) in the MINK League, gaining valuable experience in summer collegiate baseball. From 2018 to 2022, he was an assistant coach at Rock Valley College, where the team set the single-season win records with 38 in 2019.
Since taking over at MATC, Bounds has continued to elevate the program, both on the field and in the classroom. His leadership helped the Stormers set a new benchmark for wins in a season during the 2024–25 campaign, while also fostering academic growth among student-athletes.
Bounds holds a Master of Business Administration and currently resides in Hainesville, Illinois, with his wife, Megan.
