Stormers Men’s Basketball Adds 2025 Recruit Jayden Bey

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is proud to announce the commitment of 2025 men's basketball recruit Jayden Bey, a versatile and high-upside post player from St. Louis, Missouri.

Standing at an imposing 6 feet 9 inches, Bey brings immediate rim protection, rebounding presence, and defensive intensity to the Stormers' frontcourt. A standout senior at Confluence Preparatory Academy, Bey averaged 5.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game over 20 contests during the 2024-25 season.

Thanks to his quick feet, long wingspan, and exceptional timing, Bey led the state of Missouri in total blocks (57) and was named the Class 4 Conference Defensive Player of the Year — a testament to his dominance on that side of the floor.

"Jayden is a great addition to our program," said MATC men's basketball head coach Randy Casey. "He is a very versatile player who is long and athletic. We look forward to him being big for us on the glass and blocking shots on the defensive end."

Bey's development didn't stop with the high school season. He honed his skills on the AAU circuit, competing with Arsenal Hoops on the Adidas circuit, which is a platform known for producing collegiate-level talent.

Equally committed in the classroom, Bey graduated with a 3.8 GPA and is a proud member of the National Honor Society. His combination of academic excellence and athletic potential embodies the student-athlete model MATC values.

Jayden Bey is expected to make an immediate impact for the Stormers as they continue to build toward another competitive season in NJCAA Region 4.
