LAFAYETTE, Ind. – MATC's baseball team opened up its 2025 spring season in Lafayette, Ind., where they picked up a pair of wins against Highland and Marian University's Ancilla College this past weekend.
The Stormers, who are coming off a 25-33 record from last season, opened regular season play with a one-run loss to Highland Sunday before bouncing back to secure back-to-back wins against the Cougars and Marian University's Ancilla on Monday.
"I'm super proud of the boys for going 2-1 in the opening weekend," MATC head baseball coach
Caleb Bounds said. "They showed grit to tie the game in the 7th to get us into extra innings against Marian Ancilla. Our pitching did a great job by keeping us in the game!
