MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Milwaukee Area Technical College women's volleyball proudly announces the signing of 6-foot-1 middle blocker Dorothy Meyer Hoagland from Germantown High School as part of the Stormers' 2026 recruiting class.
Hoagland, a Germantown, Wisconsin, native, is a versatile multi-sport athlete who brings a strong work ethic to the Stormers program. A former lacrosse and softball standout, she sharpened her instincts with Wisconsin Attack club volleyball, where she earned recognition on the Badger Region All-Power League Team, Region Division.
"At 6-1, with an incredible block and quick swing, Dorothy would be an asset to any team, but that's not what appealed to us first," MATC head coach
Shel DeLisle said. "She is a calm presence on the court, confident and giving confidence to the players around her. Sometimes it's easy to miss the intangibles when looking at a talented player; we are glad we are getting the full package with Dorothy."
Off the court, Hoagland plans to major in marketing and is committed to maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA while balancing athletics and academics. On the court, she is focused on developing her game IQ, specifically improving her ability to read the setter to become a more consistent and impactful middle blocker.
Her blend of athleticism, club experience and academic ambition makes her a promising addition to the Stormers' roster.
