Ironwood, Mich. – After a back-and-forth first half the Stormers entered into halftime trailing Gogebic 40-45. Both teams continued to exchange buckets until the fourth quarter when the Stormers defense held the Samsons to only 8 points, while scoring 29 points in the same quarter for the 86-66 victory.

Sophomore Nwoye Green had a season-high 23 points as she went 8-of-10 from the field and hit 7-of-8 from the charity stripe. Sophomore Tara Jefferson recorded a double-double by finishing with 22 points and an impressive 19 rebounds.

The Stormers will look to keep the momentum rolling as they take on Northland Community & Technical College tomorrow (12/17) at 10:00 AM.
