La Crosse, Wis. - After starting its season with three convincing victories, the MATC men's basketball team dropped four games in a row. The Stormers bounced back with an 89-65 victory over Western Technical College.
The Stormers had a balanced attack that was led by freshman guard
D'Andre Morehouse with 17 points on 8-of-10 from the field. He also reeled in 6 rebounds, and had 3 steals in just over 10 minutes of action.
Antoine Carlisle scored 15 points and also had 6 rebounds.
Evan Runkel and
Dionne Triggs each contributed 10 points in the victory.
MATC men's basketball team will return December 1, when they will host the Concordia University Wisconsin Junior Varsity team in the Reiman Gymnasium at Alverno College. The women play at 6:00 PM and the men will follow immediately after the women's game.
